COVID-19 Update

Freight and Logistics are considered an essential service. Tamex will continue to operate throughout any lockdown periods and is able to cross state borders where restrictions are in place.

Tamex Transport has implemented a testing regime for all employees who live or work in the 3 Local Government Area’s of Fairfield, Liverpool and Canterbury-Bankstown, in addition to all drivers who enter or leave the 50 kilometre perimeter of the Greater Sydney area.

All personnel who meet the criteria of the Public Health Order are required to undergo a COVID-19 test every 72 hours. Reminders and the recording of those test results are the responsibility of our Compliance Officer who sends a daily report to the Tamex Operations Director.
