Company History Tamex Transport was established in 1991 to provide NSW based customers in Tamworth, The New England and North West with an overnight express freight service without the delays typically associated with metropolitan-sourced freight. Based in Tamworth, the original operation provided an overnight service connecting the towns of Armidale, Glen Innes, Inverell, Moree, Narrabri, Gunnedah and Tamworth. Customer satisfaction and demand rapidly provided the basis for expansion to include Newcastle and Dubbo. Further expansion saw the inclusion of Brisbane and by 1996, our express network effectively covered the majority of north eastern and inland New South Wales together with Southern Queensland. Today, our distribution network provides a comprehensive express freight service to all of New South Wales and Queensland and we have recently commenced interstate services into Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia. Company operated facilities are located in Sydney, Brisbane, Newcastle, Tamworth, Dubbo and Moree. Service excellence and the early delivery of time-sensitive freight remain the cornerstone of our business. The original service ex Tamworth still operates today. This, along with all our other services, is designed to ensure the earliest possible freight delivery times across the country. Our entire staff, agents and subcontractors are "Real People" providing "Real Service"
