Tamex places a focus on community involvement and sponsorships within the communities they operate. Tamex supports an array of initiatives. Some of Tamex’s larger and ongoing sponsorships include:
Daffodil Day
Tamex is proud to distribute daffodils to be sold in towns right across the New England and North West Region for Daffodil Day. Held in August each year, the fundraiser raises money for the Cancer Council.
Westpac Rescue Helicopter
Tamex offer their services as a preferred express carrier to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter. These services are provided free of charge in support of this vital service.
University of New England
Tamex funds a new scholarship each year for an undergraduate student at the University of New England (UNE). The scholarship funds the student’s accommodation for their time at university and is aimed at assisting disadvantaged rural students who would not be able to attend university without this sort of assistance.
Camp Quality
Tamex offer their services as an express freight carrier to Camp Quality Northern NSW. These services are provided free of charge by Tamex to support the adage that "laughter is the best medicine".
Tamex is also an avid supporter of smaller local projects such as sporting and club teams, children’s sporting teams and carnivals and school fundraisers.
